Wallingford Sports Park occupies 26 acres on the outskirts of Wallingford. The site includes one of the best floodlit all-weather pitches in the South Oxfordshire District Council area. The all-weather pitch can be hired by the public and is a useful source of revenue for the Sports Park. The Sports Park also has a large skittle alley, which is also available for hire through the skittles club. The main hall is a very popular venue for parties, children’s birthday parties, family celebrations and entertainment and is also available to hire. We also have smaller rooms available forĀ a variety of uses such as meetings, seminars and courses.
Welcome to our Sports Park in the heart of South Oxfordshire. A unique open space of 26 acres run by a Charitable Trust of volunteers with a management team operating the main clubhouse and hospitality business and facilitating the operation of the outside sporting facilities. The Wallingford Sports Trust is a not for profit charity. With 8 sports clubs at home here competing throughout the year, there is a sport for everyone and any age.
All are welcome!
The Wallingford Sports Trust manages the Wallingford Sports Park for the benefit of its member clubs. The Sports Trust was founded over thirty years ago as a registered charity and is run as a not for profit organisation. All its trustees and the vast majority of its coaches are volunteers.
The 8 sporting clubs, Rugby, Hockey, Football, Squash, Tennis, Petanque, Skittles & Archery all pay annual fees to the Sports Trust. These fees assist with financing the ongoing operation of the park and will hopefully ensure the facilities are here for generations to come.
”Together, we can change lives for the better in every home, and in every community, right across the country.
